This morning, we will depart from your area en route to the Aqua Turf Club, one of
Connecticut's premier banquet facilities. Situated on over 35 acres in the bucolic
town of Plantsville, Aqua Turf is located right in the heart of Connecticut.
Today you will enjoy a real St. Patrick's Day Celebration! Lunch will include Corned
Beef & Cabbage, Baked Scrod, and all the fixings, topped off with carrot cake for
dessert. You will also receive a complimentary glass of wine or beer with your meal.
After lunch, you will enjoy live Irish entertainment. Padraig Allen and The Maclean
Avenue Band have a distinctive sound that mixes Irish Celtic folklore and the rock
pop Celtic music of today. Padraig Allen is one of the finest singer/songwriters to
come out of Ireland, and has played shows in both America and Europe for almost
twenty years. Singing and dancing is encouraged, so put on your dancing shoes!
