Today we will depart from your area and travel to Hartford, CT First we will make a
lunch stop at the Chowder Pot. Here you will enjoy a choice of Prime Rib, Baked
Stuffed Scrod, or Chicken Marsala served complete with all the trimmings. These
are house specialties and all entrees are delicious!
After lunch we will head over to thc Connecticut Convention Center, also in
Hartford, for the 35th Annual Connecticut Flower & Garden Show. The theme
this year is "In the Spotlight" and the Convention Center will be transformed into a
breathtaking event for floral and garden enthusiasts alike. Over the past three decades,
the Connecticut Flower Show has grown into one of the premier Flower and Garden
shows on the East Coast. Connccticut's flower show boasts over 300 booths and
12,000 square feet of spectacular landscaped gardens, design, and horticulture
competition by the Federated Garden Clubs of CT. The Flower Show is sure to
brighten your day and lift those winter doldrums!
